KARACHI: Any political party that forms an electoral alliance with the MQM in the Punjab will lose the elections there because of the MQM’s role in crushing the lawyers’ struggle on May 12 in Karachi, said The Labour Party of Pakistan (LPP).

“The allied party of the MQM will also witness a reduction in their votes due to the increasing hatred among people of the Punjab for the MQM after May 12,” said LPP Secretary General Farooq Tariq at an LLP Sindh meeting held Wednesday at a local hotel.
