MQM should apologise for KESC privatisation’

KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders have demanded an apology from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), for the privatisation of the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC).

“The MQM should apologise and admit its crime that billions of rupees were siphoned off in the KESC’s privatisation process during its partnership in the coalition government,” demanded a joint statement of the MNAs, Khursheed Shah and Nabeel Gabol, the former federal minister, Prof. N. D. Khan, and the former senator, Taj Haider.
