Naseerullah Babar willing to testify against Altaf: PTI

The News

Former federal interior minister and central leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Major-Gen (retd) Naseerullah Khan Babar has expressed his willingness to testify against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in British courts of law.

This was claimed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh chief Zubair Khan and party’s NWFP General-Secretary Shah Farman, while addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club (KPC), on Monday.

Other PTI leaders including its Karachi President Haji Fazl Karim, Bismillah Khan and Information Secretary Khalid Imran were also present on the occasion. They said that Imran was returning to Pakistan on Thursday next as he had been approached by some influential persons and aggrieved families to provide him with more evidences and details of the ëterrorist activities’ of the MQM and its London-based chief Altaf Hussain

He alleged that their present so-called leadership was indulged in illegal activities like extortion, hide-snatching and worst of all, terrorism, but time has arrived to get rid of such leaders. Zubair Khan claimed that former interior minister Major-Gen (retd) Naseerullah Khan Babar had agreed to testify against Altaf Hussain in British courts of law and, if needed, he would fly to London to appear before British judges and record his statement.
