Salahuddin Haider resigns

KARACHI: Advisor to the Sindh chief minister on information and archives, Salahuddin Haider resigned on Thursday. He belongs to the ruling Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Haider sent his resignation to Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad (also from the MQM). Although Haider has cited personal reasons behind the resignation, party sources claim that MQM higher-ups had asked him to resign “for unknown reasons.
